What is Gifted Stock?
Base or Robinhood Chain: what's different?
They're two different networks. On Base you win and trade Coinbase tokenized stocks and pay in USDC or ETH. On Robinhood Chain you win and trade Robinhood stock tokens and pay in USDG or ETH. Box prices match on both. Pick a chain with its switch on our home page.
Are these real stocks?
They're tokens for real company shares. On Base, a Coinbase tokenized stock tracks one share and Coinbase holds a matching share, so each token is backed one to one. On Robinhood Chain, a Robinhood stock token, issued by Robinhood, tracks a company's share price. Both sit in your wallet like any other token.
Can US persons use Gifted Stock?
Stocks here aren't available to US persons on either chain and aren't available in some other countries either. Check you're allowed to hold them where you live before you buy a box or a stock.
Which wallets can I use?
Any wallet installed in your browser shows up when you connect, like Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Phantom or Rabby. On a phone, use WalletConnect or open giftedstock.com inside your wallet app. Your wallet is asked to switch to Base or Robinhood Chain when needed and to add Robinhood Chain if it doesn't have it yet.
Do I need ETH?
Yes, a little ETH on each chain you use, for network fees and a mystery box's opening fee. ETH on Base and ETH on Robinhood Chain are separate.
I can't see my stock in my wallet.
Check your wallet is on Base or Robinhood Chain, wherever your stock is. Some wallets show a token only once it's added: every stock's page has its contract address, so you can add it. Your profile shows every box you opened and every trade.
Who built this?
Gifted Stock is built by Ali Tiknazoglu, an onchain builder and product guy who consults for projects across ecosystems. He previously co-founded Inflynce, an onchain advertising protocol on Base. Questions, problems or feedback are all welcome, so feel free to reach out on X or Telegram.
Mystery boxes
What's inside a mystery box?
A random amount of one stock, like SpaceX, Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, Amazon, Alphabet or Meta. On Base it's a Coinbase tokenized stock; on Robinhood Chain it's a Robinhood stock token. How much you get comes from its odds table, priced live when you open. A box can also hit its bonus pot. Your stock goes straight to your wallet.
What does a mystery box cost?
A normal box is $0.10 and pays up to $2.50 in stock. A premium box is $1 and pays up to $25. Prices match on both chains: pay in USDC or ETH on Base and in USDG or ETH on Robinhood Chain. Pick one with its switch on our home page.
What are my odds?
Every box has its own odds table: each prize, its chance and its average payout, read live from its contract, which enforces it.

> its bonus pot grows with every normal box sold. once it reaches $2.50, 1 box in 1,000 wins it; until then that same roll pays $0.20.
> your number is drawn by an outside randomness service, so nobody can know it in advance - not you, not us. no prize is capped by pool size on a normal box.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Some boxes are worth more than you paid and some are worth less. Each box's odds table shows every prize, its chance and its average payout and its contract enforces it.
What is a bonus pot?
A prize that grows with every box sold. Every box on both chains has one; each box fills its own. Once a pot is full, one box in 1,000 wins it: $25 on a premium box, $2.50 on a normal box. Until it's full, that same roll pays $2 (or $0.20). Our home page shows each pot live.
How is my prize picked?
A random number that doesn't exist yet when you open picks your prize from its odds table and which stock you get, so nobody can know it in advance: not you, not us. On Base it comes from Pyth Entropy: your box asks Pyth for one and gets it back a few seconds later, made so that no one can pick a result, Pyth included. On Robinhood Chain it comes from drand, a public randomness beacon run by League of Entropy, a group of independent organisations: your boxes are tied to a drand number published a few seconds later and each box checks its signature onchain, so a fake number is refused. Every step is public onchain.
What does it cost to open a box?
A small fee in ETH that pays for a random number. On Base it's from $0.05, one fee for 1 to 200 boxes. On Robinhood Chain it starts at $0.01 for a normal box and $0.05 for a premium box, growing a little with how many you open. Either goes up a little when its network is busy. Each transaction also has a network fee, usually under a cent. Nothing is taken from your prize.
How many boxes can I open at once?
Up to 200 of every box.
Why does opening take a few seconds?
Opening asks for one random number for every box you open together. When it arrives, your boxes pay out, usually within seconds. If a vault is short of a prize, its payout waits until it's refilled and then lands in your wallet on its own.
What happens to a box I never open?
A sealed box lasts a year from when it was bought. After that it expires and pays nothing, so open it before then.
Can I gift a mystery box?
Yes. From your profile you can send sealed boxes to any wallet: up to 200 at a time. Your fren opens them and keeps whatever is inside. A sealed box is an NFT, so it can also be traded on NFT marketplaces. Once a box is opened, it can't be moved.
Where is money kept and is it safe?
It stays onchain in box contracts, not in anyone's account: money from box sales and stock bought with it. Every box pays only from stock already in its vault; when a vault can't cover a prize, its payout waits for more stock instead of shrinking. Every contract is public on Basescan or robin.etherscan.io and our Vault page shows every holding live.
Gift boxes
What is a gift box?
A box you design yourself and fill with Coinbase tokenized stocks, USDC or ETH, on Base. Unlike a mystery box, it holds exactly what you put in. Send it to a fren or share one link with a crowd: it stays sealed until they open it, then what's inside lands in their wallet. Make one at giftedstock.com/gift.
How do I send a gift box to a fren?
On giftedstock.com/gift pick what each box holds, choose who it's for and pay. A fren is a wallet address or a name like name.base.eth. You can send to up to 100 wallets at once: each gets their own box.
What is a gift link?
One link for a crowd. You set how many boxes sit behind it, up to 100,000. Whoever claims first gets one, one box per wallet. You choose who can claim (anyone, verified wallets or wallets on a list you upload) and when claims open and close.
How do I open a gift box?
Connect your wallet on giftedstock.com/gift and press Open: what's inside lands in your wallet. From a gift link, claim it first: one box per wallet.
Can someone see what's inside before opening?
Not on Gifted Stock: a box shows who sent it, its note and its design until it's opened. It's onchain though, so anyone who looks it up on Basescan can see what it holds.
What does a gift box cost?
What you put inside plus a 2.5% fee on top. Pay with tokenized stocks you already hold. Or pay with USDC or ETH: stocks are bought as you send. Network fees on Base are usually under a cent.
What happens to boxes nobody claims?
They stay yours. Take them back anytime from your sent gifts: what they hold returns to your wallet. You can also top up a link with more boxes or make a new link that replaces it.
Do gift boxes expire?
No. A gift box stays sealed until it's opened, with no deadline. Boxes nobody claimed from a link stay yours to take back.
Trading
How do I buy or sell a stock?
On our Swap tab, on Base or Robinhood Chain: pick what you pay with and which stock you want. On Base you pay with USDC or ETH and on Robinhood Chain with USDG or ETH. Selling is that same swap turned around. Your profile's Portfolio tab also buys or sells several stocks in one order.
Which stocks can I trade?
On Base, Coinbase tokenized stocks with a market, like NVIDIA, Apple and Tesla. On Robinhood Chain, Robinhood stock tokens. Our Stocks page lists every one with its price and contract.
What does trading cost?
1% on each trade with a stock in it, bought or sold. 0.75% on a swap without a stock (like ETH to USDC) and to move money between Base and Robinhood Chain. Each transaction also has a network fee, usually under a cent.
Can I move my stock between Base and Robinhood Chain?
No. A tokenized stock on Base and a stock token on Robinhood Chain are different tokens, even when they track one company. To switch, sell one and buy its twin on another chain. Money moves though: Swap brings USDC or ETH on Base to USDG or ETH on Robinhood Chain and back, for 0.75%.
Campaigns
What is a campaign?
A giveaway run by a project. A project puts up boxes as prizes and sets a few simple tasks. Do its tasks, then either you're in a raffle drawn when it ends or - in a first come, first served campaign - you claim your boxes right away until they run out. Prizes are boxes on Base or Robinhood Chain.
How do I join a campaign?
Open a campaign from our Campaigns page, connect your wallet and complete each task, like visiting a link, holding a token or NFT, opening boxes or trading on Gifted Stock. When every task is done, join with one signature. You'll see "you're in" on its campaign card once you've joined.
How are winners picked?
In a raffle, at random after a campaign ends: every wallet that joined gets one entry, or more when a campaign gives raffle tickets for trading, packs or XP. Each ticket is its own chance and a wallet wins once at most. If a task asks you to hold a token you still need to hold it at its end. In a first come, first served campaign there's no draw: whoever finishes its tasks and claims first gets boxes, one claim per wallet.
How and when do winners get their boxes?
Automatically. Raffle winners get theirs about an hour after a campaign ends; a first come, first served claim arrives within a minute. Either way you'll see a popup on our home page. They're sealed boxes, normal or premium as its campaign says: open them, keep them or gift them.
How do I launch a campaign?
Reach out to me on X or Telegram and I'll set up your project's page. Then you create campaigns yourself: tasks, how many winners, how many boxes each and dates, up to 30 days. You pay for boxes in USDC on Base or USDG on Robinhood Chain: $0.10 a normal box or $1 a premium box, starting from $10 - 100 normal or 10 premium boxes. Boxes nobody wins go back to your prize pool for your next campaign.
