RIVNc is a token on Base that tracks one Rivian Automotive share. Coinbase issues it and holds a matching share with a regulated custodian, so it is backed one to one. You hold the token in your own wallet; the share stays in custody.
Do I get Rivian Automotive dividends or voting rights with RIVNc?
No voting rights: those stay with the custodian. A cash dividend is added through the token's multiplier, so after one a token stands for a little more than one share, rather than paying you.
Can I buy RIVNc in US?
No. Coinbase tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons and they are not available everywhere else either. Check your own rules before buying or opening a box.
What happens to RIVNc when the stock market is closed?
